Manufacturer Adolf Herr has personally signed the back of the clock, guaranteeing the expertise of 7 generations of clock-making. This clock comes with a certificate of authenticity (AHC), ensuring its genuine Black Forest origin.

The clock's movement is an 8-day, weekly wind-up Regula rack strike mechanism with a night-off feature. The wooden dial, with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm), features wooden hands and the HerrZeit brand.

The dancing figurines are exquisitely carved and painted, capturing the essence of the Black Forest region. The pendulum is a HerrZeit bolt pendulum with fine adjustment, providing precise timekeeping.

The musical movement, with 22 tones, plays the two distinct melodies of Edelweiss and The Happy Wanderer, creating a charming and melodic ambiance. The burnished chime, with a diameter of 4.7 inches (12 cm), adds to the clock's distinctive sound.
